Our Friday Night Racing is the heart of Jingili BMX Club β€” designed to be fun, inclusive, and perfect for all riders, especially those new to racing.

🏁 What is Round Robin Racing?

Round Robin racing means every rider gets multiple races (motos) throughout the night with no eliminations or finals.

  • All riders race in ability-based divisions
  • Everyone gets equal track time
  • No pressure β€” just racing, learning, and having fun

This format is ideal for building confidence, improving skills, and gaining real race experience in a relaxed environment.


⏱️ Event Schedule

5:30pm – Registration Opens
Get signed on, collect your race info, and get ready for the night.

Practice Sessions:

  • 5:30pm – 6:00pm | Mini Wheelers
  • 6:00pm – 6:15pm | Non-Confident Gate Starters
  • 6:15pm – 6:30pm | Sprockets
  • 6:30pm – 6:50pm | Challenge Class Riders

7:15pm – Racing Begins

  • Typically 5 motos per rider
  • 3 motos, half time, followed by 2 motos
  • Fun games, lucky spot prizes, and giveaways during halftime
  • Riders accumulate points across the night and throughout the series for awards at the completion of each round robbin.Β

Our Open Day events bring a more traditional race format, designed for riders ready to test themselves in a competitive but still fun and supportive environment.

These events include themed race days like the Crocodile Classic, Mango Madness, and Champion of Championships.

UCI-style racing follows a structured format used in major BMX competitions:

  • 3 qualifying motos for every rider
  • Riders earn points based on finishes
  • Top riders progress through to finals
  • Finals determine overall placings

This format introduces riders to real race progression and competitive racing.

⏱️ Timing & Scoring – Sqorz System

All racing at Jingili BMX Club is timed and scored using the Sqorz timing system, providing accurate results and live race tracking.

Riders aged 8 years and over are required to use a MyLaps transponder, mounted to the right-hand front fork, to ensure precise timing.

Results can be viewed live or shortly after racing via Sqorz:
