Timing and Transponders

Riders who race in challenge class (born in 2012 or older) us a "MYLAPS Prochip Flex" transponder for accurate timing of their laps. If you are Sprocket Rocket or Mini Wheeler, you do not need to have a transponder as these are participation classes.

Buy a Transponder

When stock is available transponders can be purchased from Jingili BMX Club for $55. Alternatively transponders can be purchased from Sqorz.

The transponder must be activated before it can be used. Download MYLAPS Connect (available for macOS and Windows), then connect the transponder to your computer via USB. Once activated, the subscription is good for 1 or 2 years, depending on which is purchased.
